Course Description

This unit is designed to equip students with a comprehensive knowledge of Strategic Exports Control and how these controls fi t into global non-proliferation efforts of weapons of mass destruction.

 

Students will acquire an understanding of relevant international treaties, regimes and U.N. sanctions impacting on their domestic laws and government policy as well as the export control administration and process. They will examine the U.S. export control legislation and its global impact and learn the importance of risk assessment/ risk of diversion and the role of intelligence in an export compliant administration.
