Course Description

This unit is designed to enhance students' understanding of the legal principles governing aviation (Chicago Convention), the principles of liability (Warsaw Convention), the legal basis for border processing of cargoes and passengers and related international security issues.

 

Students in this unit will learn how to locate and use sources of information on international air law, identify issues of aviation law and their implications for customs practice, evaluate areas of air law and suggest necessary law reforms.
