African Customs Review
The Centre for Customs & Excise Studies - Africa is pleased to announce the publication of the African Customs Review (ACR), a bimonthly newsletter dedicated to news, reports, reviews and analysis of matters relevant to customs policy, administration, education and training in Africa.
African Customs Review is expected to achieve the following objectives:
1. Provide a reliable source of information on issues of interest to customs policymakers, administrators, educators and trainers in Africa including ongoing programs and projects and interesting cases;
2. Provide a forum for discussion of international customs-related issues from a regional perspective to generate debate and influence interventions at operational, strategic and policy levels;
3. Highlight available regional and international customs training and development opportunities; and
4. Support the creation of a network of customs professionals in the African continent in collaboration with the African Union Customs Cooperation Division, World Customs Organization Regional Offices for Capacity Building, WCO Regional Training Centres, regional economic communities, customs training academies, donors, private sector groups and other stakeholders.
We welcome short articles and letters for publication in African Customs Review. We count on your support to improve the quality of the newsletter and to help achieve its objectives, so we would appreciate to get your comments.
